Michael Baker joined the Western Alliance Trust Company, N.A., in 2025 as vice president, head of transaction management. He is responsible for overseeing deal negotiations, client onboarding and transaction execution across a range of structured finance products. Based in Maryland, Mr. Baker has 20 years of corporate trust experience, with a focus on collateralized loan obligations (CLOs), leveraged loan services and securities custody transactions.
Before joining Western Alliance, Mr. Baker served as vice president of business negotiations at Computershare Corporate Trust (formerly Wells Fargo Corporate Trust). In that role, he led complex negotiations involving CLOs, asset-based lending facilities, CRE-CLO, CMBS and securities custody transactions.
Mr. Baker earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Economics from Towson University.
